Sometime ago, the developer Edge of Reality (Tony Hawk's Pro Skater N64 series, The Sims - for consoles - and Over the Edge) announced the development of its first next-generation game titled Cipher Complex, even releasing a couple of artworks which were able to give us the idea of an action-stealth game.

Now, we're glad to announce that Edge of Reality has, at last, spread some new info on the game along with more than a dozen screenshots - probably from the online multi-player mode - and some very good artworks.

Moreover, through a press release, the developers let us know that: "Cipher Complex - set for release late 2007/early 2008 - is in development for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It is best categorized as Aggressive Infiltration: a new breed of military stealth game."

According to them, the "next generation military stealth genre gets a brutal, high-energy combat boost. Deadly assassinations and vicious adrenaline driven attacks take the ordinarily slow paced stealth genre to new levels of action and tension."

Going into details, the player will take tactical control of the flow of time through the use of adrenaline; hence, there will be moments where the player will be able to move so fast that time stands still. "Powerful dashing attacks are unleashed in the blink of an eye, faster than the enemy can respond, and adrenaline powered attacks knock enemies flying with devastatingly effective sweeps of the player's combat knife."

And eventually, here it is the game incipit: "When a decommissioned Russian missile complex off the unforgiving coast of Siberia is assaulted by a mysterious militant faction and subsequent diplomatic inquires to Russia fail, Cipher is sent in to investigate. And so the crisis begins..."
