A week ago, a rumour spread about the possibility of a double Halo 3 multiplayer beta: 1 for those who have won it through online contests and one for those who have bought Crackdown.

However, after few days, Frank O'Connor, Bungie Community Manager, has denied the existence of such a double beta-period:

"Have we enough time to work on two separate betas? No, people have just created a little bit of confusion."

Halo 3 multiplayer beta is currently scheduled for the end of Spring.
